Chapter 9

“SO HOW do we start?” Dean asked.

They were inside Dean’s motel room. Anthony had called his dad to make sure that Nicki was looked after, and then he’d rushed with Dean inside. Dean had fumbled with the key as they hurried.

Now Dean looked at him, his face wary.

Anthony smiled. He held out his hand. Dean’s hand was at his side, but he lifted it slowly to meet Anthony’s own. They laced their fingers laced together and Anthony tugged him closer.

“Like this.”

They exchanged long, deep kisses until both their mouths were slightly bruised. Dean’s mouth was the perfect mixture of firm lips and hot tongue, of heat and tenderness.

“Anthony.”

“Hmm…?” Anthony said, happily dazed from the drugging kisses.

“I want to get naked.”

“Soon.”

God, Dean was beautiful. Oh, he wasn’t handsome by anybody’s standards, but he was a compelling combination of vulnerable and strong that was far more attractive to Anthony than mere looks. Dean seemed beautiful precisely because he didn’t even know how sexy and special he was. Anthony grazed his finger over Dean’s tight T-shirt, feeling his pectoral muscles underneath. He ran his hand lower still, dipping down near his lower stomach, watching Dean’s face the entire time. With a

smile, Anthony leaned in and kissed the side of Dean’s neck up to his earlobe. Dean sucked in a sharp breath as Anthony bit down on the shell of his ear. “We’re supposed to be taking our time, remember?” Anthony teased, breathing against Dean’s ear. He licked his way down to Dean’s Adam’s apple and sucked at it enough to mark it.

“Keep doing that!” Dean ordered, closing his eyes. He arched his head back to give Anthony more room.

“This?” Anthony trailed kisses up and down his throat. Dean grabbed him at the waist with his hands as if he was hanging on to Anthony like a lifeline, and Anthony continued scraping his teeth lightly at his neck.

“Yeah, that,” Dean moaned. He opened his eyes and looked down at Anthony. “Why did I always have sex in such a rush before?”

Anthony laughed. “I think you said it had something to do with being in the armed forces.”

“Yeah. Back with my regiment, everything is different.” Dean stared at him, his dark eyes intense. “But here? I don’t have any worries about being thought of as less of a man for wanting a man inside of me.”

Anthony stared back, swallowing visibly. “Okay, that just made me hard as hell.”

“Good.” Dean gave a lopsided grin. “Show me.”

With a tug, Anthony helped Dean pull off his T-shirt. He lifted Dean’s dog tags and kissed the skin beneath them, and then he ran his palms along Dean’s sculpted chest. A dark thatch of hair made a line between his nipples and ran down over his stomach. As Anthony looked, Dean’s nipples pebbled, begging to be sucked. He began with a soft lick to each one, letting his tongue circle around and around.

Biting down on Dean’s left nipple, Anthony worked it to a hard point, reddening the tight nub. Dean writhed back and forth, and his grip on Anthony tightened.
